Fredyne Phelps Hulcy

Fredyne Phelps Hulcy, age 86, passed away February 7, 2016 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Restland Cemetery in Olney, Texas with Scotte Clark, minister of the Hamilton Street Church of Christ, officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.  Fredyne was born on December 10, 1929 in Olney, Texas to the late Floyd O. and Mattie Sue (Moran) Phelps.  She was a graduate of Olney High School and a member of the Hamilton Street Church of Christ. She was secretary at the Hamilton Street Church of Christ for twelve years until her retirement in 1996. She married Charles Hulcy on March 13, 1948 in Archer City. He preceded her in death on June 28, 1995. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kay Bishop on November 20, 2014. Fredyne is survived by one daughter, Kelly Cuba and husband John of Olney; son-in-law Jackie Bishop of Olney; five grandchildren: Jeff Bishop and wife Kristi of Wichita Falls, Bevin Parker and husband Jeremy of Wichita Falls, Brenn Hobbs of Frisco, Andi Cuba of Dallas, Zack Cuba of Olney; five great-grandchildren; two sisters: Bobbye McNew of Hobbs, New Mexico and Betsey Andrews and husband Harold of Lubbock.
