Ernest Hunt, Jr.

Ernest Hunt, Jr, age 62 of Seymour, Texas, died Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at Seymour Rehabilitation and Healthcare. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Ernie was born August 14, 1957 in Olney, Texas to the late Ernest Hunt, Sr. and JoAnne Morgan Hunt. He was a graduate of San Marcos Academy in 1975 as a Major. He then attended and graduated from Texas Tech University in 1979 with a B.S. Degree in Physical Education. He was a rancher all of his life on the family owned Hashknife Ranch in Baylor and Throckmorton Counties. Ernie married Jacqueline Ann Mills on January 4, 2015 in Seymour.

Ernie is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Hunt of Seymour; one daughter, Lauren Bush of Seymour; one step-son and his wife, Kendall and Melissa Winborn of Dublin; three grandchildren, Jaron Winborn of Dublin and Josiah Bush and Ben Bush both of Seymour; one sister, K. Ann Hunt Schriver of Dallas; two nieces and their husbands, Morgan and Andrew Reese and Amanda and Mark Babinski; and one great-niece, Katherine Reese.
