Dorothy Jane Clark Snow, 76, passed from this life on Wednesday, December 7, 2016, in Olney, Texas. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, December 11, in the chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Scotte Clarke, minister, officiating. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Mrs. Snow was born Dec. 30, 1939, in Electra to Mack and Oma Lee (Barker) Selph. She lived on the Waggoner Ranch south of Electra for nine years and attended school at Rocky Point. She moved with the family to Megargel where she continued school and was a star basketball player. She moved to Electra in 1960 for several years, returned to Megargel and in 1967 moved to Olney.

An avid sports fan, she followed the Texas Rangers, Nascar and especially the Olney Cubs. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and yardwork. She had been employed by Haggar Slacks, JRB Food, The Olney Enterprise and Olney Fuel. She was a member of the Church of Christ. 

Dorothy and Ray Snow were married Jan. 31, 1981, in Loving. He preceded her in death Nov. 23, 2004. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Billy Selph; a sister, Maxine Ward; and a grandson, Adam Clark.  

Survivors include three daughters: Tommye Leemann and husband Kurt of Olney, Mollye Ashton and husband Steve of Archer City and Terrye Tatum and husband Danny of Olney; two sons: Ronnie Clark and wife Marge of Olney and Mickey Clark and wife Kathy of Flora, LA.

Other survivors include her grandchildren: Marshall Leemann and wife, Krista, of Oak Ridge, NC; Marcus Leemann of Olney; Cody Ashton and Kristen Buckreis of Ft. Worth; Sidney Ashton of Archer City; Rachel Ashton of Wichita Falls; Joe Tatum of Wichita Falls; Jamie Clark of Olney; Mike Clark of Olney; Jessie Clark, Kyle Clark and Faith Clark, all of Flora, LA.

She is also survived by four great-granddaughters: Linlye and Hazel Ashton of Ft. Worth and Blake and Quinn Leemann of Oak Ridge, NC; a sister, Geraldine Alexander, of Archer City; a brother-in-law, Harold Ward, of Graham; and several nieces and nephews.  

Pallbearers will be her grandsons Marshall Leemann, Marcus Leemann, Cody Ashton, Mike Clark, Joe Tatum and Kyle Clark. Honorary pallbearers will be her cousin, Gene Kellar, and her nephew, Danny Mack Alexander. 

Family visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. on Saturday, December 10, at Lunn Funeral Home. 

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or The Olney Community Library and Arts Center.
