Charlene Burris Vincent

Charlene Burris Vincent, 77, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023, in Graham. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at 11 a.m. in the First Baptist Church of Graham. Graveside services will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Vashti Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Charlene was born July 9, 1945, in Graham to the late Clinton Elias Burris, Jr, and Bernice Elizabeth (Bullock) Burris. She married Jerry Dale Vincent on November 12, 1994, in Wichita Falls at Faith Baptist Church.

Charlene graduated from Olney High School in 1963 and graduated from Midwestern State University with a degree in Computer Information Systems in 1997. She worked for the Texas Poison Center for 15 years. One of her joys in life was traveling and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and was baptized as a young girl in the First Baptist Church of Olney. She prayed every night for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren by name. Charlene was a member of the First Baptist Church of Graham.

Survivors include: husband, Jerry Vincent of Graham; daughters, Bridgeda Atchley of Belton and Katherin Weiss of Lockhart; son, Glenn Atchley, III of Copperas Cove; stepdaughter, Lana Ratliff of Wichita Falls; sisters, Janis Jordan of Graham and Patricia Sullivan of Graham; 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by sister, Carolyn Parks, and stepdaughter, Dana Vincent.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
