Carolyn Kessler, age 68, passed away Saturday, February 27th 2016 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Carolyn was born and raised in Dallas, “Oak Cliff” Texas and was a professional hairstylist for many years, when she decided to continue on the family business of Jan’s Cakes Unique.

She married the love of her life Tim Kessler on October 14th 1994, and settled down in Newcastle, Texas where they celebrated twenty – three wonderful years together. Only God knows how Carolyn handled Tim-Bo for 23 years!!!! She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Avis Egner and a sister, Sheri Egner. She is survived by her husband, Tim Kessler of Newcastle, Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Jeff Franklin of McLoud, Oklahoma; a son and daughter-inlaw, Chris and Crimson Thannisch of McLoud, Oklahoma; son, Kerry Kessler and girlfriend Jayla Stuntz of Bossier City, Louisiana; three grandsons and one granddaughter: Gunnar and Connor Thannisch of McLoud, Oklahoma, Cole Thannisch of Newcastle, Texas and Adi Kessler of Kerrville, Texas; and many, many friends and fur babies.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 in the chapel of Lunn Funeral home in Olney with Jessie Edwards, pastor of the Newcastle Baptist Church officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. prior to the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home in Olney.
