Coach Flores Finds A Home in Olney

Coach Art Flores grew up in a small town, so it’s no wonder he and his family are enjoying their time in Olney.

“I grew up and went to school K-12 in Roby, but I was actually born in Mexico.” Flores said Flores said they have lived in Olney for just a year. Flores was hired as a Spanish teacher in 2025 and this is his first time teaching Spanish in Olney.

“Spanish is the first language I learned, so it’s a subject that I have experience in,” Flores said. “I would say, I enjoy when students finally make the connection of what they’re learning and how to apply it. “
