New Hospital Parking Lot Opens for Patients on Aug. 31
Olney Hamilton Hospital patients will begin getting an early look at part of the new hospital campus this month — although they won’t be going inside the new building just yet.
Beginning Monday, Aug. 31, patients will park in the new hospital parking lot while construction continues on the new Olney Hamilton Hospital.
The newly paved lot will be accessible from South Avenue M, across from the Clinic parking lot. Hospital officials said signs will be posted to direct patients to the new parking area.
Drivers should be aware that the lot will have one designated entrance and one designated exit as construction continues around the site.
After parking in the new lot, patients should continue to use the current hospital’s Main Entrance on Hamilton Street to enter the hospital. The new hospital building remains under construction and is not yet open to patients.
Hospital officials are asking patients and visitors to watch carefully for directional signs and to use caution while becoming accustomed to the new traffic pattern.
Patients who need assistance getting from the parking lot into the hospital may call 940-564-5521 for help.
The hospital’s administrators and staff thanked patients and visitors for their patience and cooperation during the transition as work progresses on the new facility.
The parking change takes effect Aug. 31, 2026.
