OHH Board Names Stasha Siegert Interim CEO

Olney Hamilton Hospital Chief Operating Officer Stasha Siegert has been serving as acting chief executive officer since May 27 while CEO Michael Huff is on medical leave.

Ms. Siegert delivered the administrative report to the OHH board of directors during their June 26 meeting. Following the meeting, she confirmed that she is serving as acting CEO and said the board had not determined when Mr. Huff would return.

In addition to reporting on the $6-million bond sale, Ms. Siegert reported that the hospital was awarded a grant that will fund diabetes education, new glucose- monitoring supplies for patients, upgrades to the hospital’s electronic medical record system, and equipment for the wellness center. Another grant application seeking approximately $1.4 million for additional equipment remains pending.

Ms. Siegert also reported on ongoing discussions with Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center to establish a certified nursing assistant training program for local students and provide additional continuing education opportunities for hospital providers.
