Congratulations, Class of 2026!

After a year of many successes and a few disappointments, Olney High School Class of 2026 graduates took part in weeklong traditional events leading up to the graduation on Friday, May 15.

The events included the Baccalaureate Service, which gives graduates a time of worship, reflection and blessings at various churches; photo sessions with Julie Lane Photography for cap & gown and group photos; Senior Day for scholarship presentation; walking the halls of Olney Elementary; award presentations, banquets and finally the big night: graduation.

Then the new grads were off to countless celebration parties and dinners. We here at the Olney Enterprise newspaper wish to impart all the luck, good wishes and congratulations to the OHS graduates as they move on to their next big thing.

Our parting quote for the graduates, as they begin a busy time in their lives at college, trade school or the workforce, comes from the film “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.”

“Life moves pretty fast,” Ferris says. “If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”

And Will B. says: “Don’t forget to slow down and enjoy the ride.”
