Cubs Defeat Archer City for Senior Night
The Olney High School Cubs hosted the Archer City Wildcats for Senior Night and came away with a big win. The Wildcats are longtime friendly rivals from just north of Olney who in the past have given the Cubs a lot of losses, but this is a new era for the Cubs with a top-rated Head Basketball Coach Eric Symank and a team full of weapons who all play for each other.
Cubs over Wildcats, 67-41, giving the Cubs both wins for the season against the Wildcats. The Cubs will face their biggest battle in Windthorst against the Trojans on February 13, at 6 p.m. The Trojans are 9-1 in district, sitting at first place.
#11 Tucker Cortinez led the Cubs in scoring at 15 followed by #4 Jamarcus Collins with 10, who also excelled on defense for the night.
Fight on, Cubs!
