Olney Chamber to Offer Classes For Members
As Olney welcomes a new year, the Chamber of Commerce stands at the heart of its business community, launching the 2026 membership drive with a slate of opportunities designed to empower businesses, individuals, and nonprofits alike, Chamber director Kimberl Smith said..
For residents and local nonprofits, the Non-Profit or Family membership at $100 offers value with a window placard to show support, invites to Chamber events at member pricing, a listing on the revamped member directory, email newsletters, and practical services like free use of the Chamber conference room and free notary services.
It’s a perfect entry point for community advocates and mission-driven organizations, Mrs.
Smith said.
Bronze members, at $150, enjoy all of those benefits plus inclusion on the Chamber’s preferred vendor list — a way for small businesses to be seen and hired.
Stepping up to Silver Community Investor at $300 unlocks even greater visibility and investment in growth. Silver members receive all the perks of Bronze — and then some: a logo and ads on the marquee sign on Main Street all year, $250 toward event sponsorship, two social media spotlights on all channels, two free tuitions to the Small Business Academy, and an hour-long welcome meeting with digital media recorded for future promotion.
This level is crafted for businesses looking to elevate their profile and connect more deeply with the community.
The momentum continues with Gold at $750, which includes all Silver benefits plus unlimited tuitions to the Small Business Academy, four social media spotlights, $750 toward event sponsorships, and a large banner printed with the Gold member’s logo displayed at sponsored events.
For companies ready to be seen and heard all year, Gold membership amplifies reach and impact. At the top tier, Platinum at $1,500 adds an extra-large event banner and a 60-second promotional video to that suite of benefits — a powerful tool in an age where storytelling and brand presence are essential for visibility and growth, Mrs. Smith said.
Networking remains at the heart of the Chamber’s mission. From Mix & Mingle events and quarterly lunches to one-on-one welcome meetings, members are introduced not just to potential customers, but to collaborators, mentors, and advocates.
The Chamber emphasizes that success often comes not from who you know, but from who knows you—and Chamber events are designed to make those connections happen naturally, Mrs. Smith said, The 2026 calendar reflects that philosophy. Signature events like Olney in America, the Fourth of July Parade, and the Annual Banquet anchor the year, while community-wide garage sales, holiday celebrations, and tailgates bring steady foot traffic to local businesses.
Members also have opportunities to sponsor events at various levels, putting their names and brands front and center during Olney’s busiest and most festive moments.
The Chamber plans to sponsor Homebuyer 101 course, she said.
