Lady Cubs Host Lady Pirates for District Opener

The Olney High School gym was electrified by fans for the Lady Cubs District opener against the Petrolia Lady Pirates.
It was a battle like none other going all the way to 5 in the series with the Lady Pirates just edging past the Lady Cubs.
Some stats for the game include Natalie Simmons 18 kills, 6 total blocks 4 solo and 2 block assists-Bradi Bowers: 8 kills, 4 aces, 11 digs-Kynlee Lauderdale: 8 kills, 26 digs-Morgan Simmons: 6 kills, 23 assists,10 digs-Braelyn Casteel: 4 aces,12 digs and Mackenzie Berngen: 9 assists.
The Lady Cubs fell in district game two against the Archer City Ladycats in 3 during the series. The Lady Cubs travel to Windthorst for game 4 against the Lady Trojans on October 7, beginning at 5 p.m.
