OHS Wins 6th Straight District UIL
Olney High School won its sixth consecutive championship at the University Interscholastic League district level in Archer City last month, besting six area high schools.
Thirty-eight OHS students traveled to Archer City on Tuesday, March 25, and Monday, March 31, to compete in the District UIL contests.
Olney finished 1st with 694 points out of 1638 points awarded. Other competing schools include Seymour -- 2nd place, Archer City -- 3rd place, Nocona -- 4th place, Petrolia 5th place, Electra -- 6th place, and Windthorst -- 7th place.
Of the students competing, 28 will advance to the Regional competition on April 2526. The regional contest will be held at Grayson College in Denison, Texas.
