Hero, Queen crowned at Newcastle ISD HOCO

The Newcastle community turned out on Main Street for an exciting night that included a pep-rally, parade and bonfire to celebrate the annual Newcastle ISD Homecoming football game.
This year’s Bobcat Football Hero is Gaiden Turner with Ashleigh Taylor chosen for Homecoming Queen.
The Bobcats were heavily favored pre-season but fell to the Wichita Christian Stars for their big Homecoming game. The loss did not spoil the night’s festivities.
The Bobcats will regroup to fight it out with the Jayton Jaybirds during the away game on October 4.
