Texoma Gives raises funds for local nonprofits

Texoma Gives is a day of online giving for nonprofits and many citizens of Olney chose to give big to those that serve our community. By the numbers, Olney Education Foundation took first place in the extra-small organization category with 33 donors giving $32,920, and Olney Christian Community Center [The Refuge] took first-place honors for the medium organization category with 39 donors giving $153,925.

Other Olney non-profits: House of Mercy had eight do- nors giving $1,334, Keep Olney Beautiful had 16 donors giving $930, Olney Community Library & Art Center had 18 donors giving $943, Olney Volunteer Fire Department had 18 donors giving $1465 and Young County Olney Senior Cub Center had 67 donors giving $21,407.
