Bobcats prowl in Newcastle

The Newcastle Booster Club hosted the annual Booster Bash to welcome back Newcastle ISD students and introduce the athletes and coaches of the Bobcats and Ladycats. It was a fun evening for the entire community. New this year for the Booster Club will be the addition of the Bobcat Pounce kids made up of kindergarten through fifth graders who will be on hand to support the athletes this season.

Thanks to sponsor Whiskey Creek Outdoors Pounce, kids will receive a shirt and a hotdog and water before each game. The Bobcat Pounce will run out of the Bobcat tunnel before each game to get the crowd riled up for the game.
