Cubs fall to the Trojans in District brawl

The Olney Cubs hosted the Windthorst Trojans in a district matchup that turned into a battle of wills. The Cubs are feeling Jose Castillo’s absence on the court but still mounted a great game against the Trojans. The Cubs had some missteps in the first period with a combination of missed buckets and steals by the Trojans. Trojans overtook the Cubs, 44-70. #1 Jacob Hernandez stepped up for the Cubs with a huge game, driving through defenders on the way to the bucket and drawing fouls along the way.
