Legion comedy show brings laughs, Toys for Tots

In a heartwarming and laughter-filled event, the Olney American Legion Post 414 hosted a Toys for Tots Comedy Show on December 1st, bringing the community together for an evening of entertainment and charitable giving.

The event, held at the Olney American Legion, featured a lineup of hilarious comedians who generously volunteered their time to spread joy and laughter. Post Commander Chris Garcia expressed the motivation behind the event, saying, “We wanted to help support the Olney Volunteer Fire Department’s Toys for Tots Toy drive and had these hilarious comedians who wanted to come to Olney to put on a show so we combined the two for a great night of laughs for a good cause.”

The Olney American Legion collaborated with the Olney Volunteer Fire Department (OVFD) for the Toys for Tots Toy drive, aiming to make a positive impact on the lives of local children during the holiday season. The Comedy Show not only achieved its goal of providing a night of entertainment but also successfully raised toys and funds to contribute to the OVFD’s charitable efforts.
