St. Luke VBS brings kids, pets together
Children who attended Vacation Bible School at the St. Luke Lutheran Church in Olney enjoyed a hot dog dinner before learning the importance of the Sermon on the Mount and the story of Jesus on the Cross. Later, the children enjoyed games and other activities during the summer camp. Pastor Reeves said the camp this year would focus on two points, the Sermon on the Mount, which relates to the way Jesus takes care of his followers and the children take care of their pets. The second point being taught is how Jesus died on the cross for our sins. [L-R] Caroline Jeske with pet fish-Star, Laura Jeske with Jack-Jack the Guinea Pig and Grace Jeske. Photo by Will Sadler
