The Refuge: Summer Cooking Camp
The Refuge, Olney’s local Christian community center has been busy this summer with a great many summer camps and programs to keep children busy and enjoying the summer. The latest camp was a summer cooking camp that was filled to capacity. Jacqueline Gober, who runs children’s activities at the community center, said the cooking camp followed a camp on botany – and the two subjects paired very well.
Ms. Gober had plenty of help with the summer programs from interns Mallory Jeske and Allie Barrington. The Refuge will be hosting a math and reading camp at the end of July. For more information please visit their Facebook page The Refuge or call (940) 564-4673
