Olney Library holds free computer classes starting Feb. 1

Olney Community Library will be starting a free introduction to computers class beginning Wednesday, Feb. 1 at 2 p.m. The class also will be held in the evenings, at 5:30 p.m., beginning Thursday, Feb. 2. The class will begin with Basic Computer Skills and move through other modules such as Internet Skills, Using Email, Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Social Media, Information Literacy, Accessing Telehealth Appointments, and Your Digital Footprint. Each class will consist of a teacher-taught lesson and self-paced computer work that can be done at home or at the library.
