Selecting an outstanding athlete in each sport was begun this year. Winners were from L-R (Seated): A.B Barrientes and Keri Lukert in tennis, Trina Wainwright and Johnny Melton in Golf; (Back) Jeremy Meredith in track, Corey Frost in track and basketball, Clay Strealy in basketball, Curt Shawver in football and Bill Story in baseball.
