



Mistletoe Market Kicks Off the Holiday Season
On Nov. 28, Olney Chamber of Commerce hosted Mistletoe Market, an annual event. The event included many local vendors featuring Christmas gift ideas, food booths and trucks.
Meet Me at the Skatepark, a local Olney nonprofit raising funds to build a skate park in Olney, was on hand to serve delicious s’mores over an open fire. Martha’s Taquitos was present to serve the community street tacos. Funnel Vision served a crowd favorite, funnel cakes. The Kettle Korn booth was popular and has served its treats at many events around Young County this year. Food trucks rounded out the food vendors at tacos El Ray and Pops Good Eats Grill.
Some vendors included, Here’s Your Sign, which provides unique and colorful yard signs for all occasions, Mary Kay and bracelets were sold by Carmen and Chloe Neal, Rebel Soul Mercantile, selling clothing and other unique boutique items, Everyday Farm Girl selling Artisan Candles, hand-poured locally and many other vendors. was on hand to visit with all the good little boys and girls.
WDSadler Photography was present to capture the children’s visit with Santa, and the night was topped off with the annual lighting of the Olney Christmas tree, touted as the tallest tree in Young County.
