Attention: 4-H Steer Exhibitors

4-H and FFA members who plan to exhibit a steer in the Young County Junior Livestock Show or any of the major livestock shows in Texas must take part in the steer validation process. Validation will take place on Tuesday, June 23rd, at 4:00p.m. at Young County Arena. There is a state validation fee of $20.00 for each steer in addition to the Young County Junior Livestock Show entry fee of $25 for each animal.

Each steer will be tattooed, tagged and nose printed. Failure to validate a steer makes the animal ineligible for entry or show in the county livestock show or major shows

In order to make entry into the Young County Junior Live stock Show more convenient, steer exhibitors will be paying fees and entering their steers in the 2021 YC-JLS at validation.
