Busy Bee Quilt Show Winners Announced

Busy Bee quilt Show, Post Oak, Texas--held Sept. 27 and 28, 2019, in the Post Oak Community Center, Post Oak, Texas, displayed over 50 quilts. Quilts were entered in the show from Jacksboro, Graham, Bowie, Henrietta, Chico, Wichita Falls, Alvord and Olney. Door prizes were given hourly through the show. Thank you to everyone who entered quilts, attended the show or helped in so many ways to make the show a success.  Ribbons and prizes were given the following winners: Best of Show “The Neighborhood” by Linda Swetnam, Graham  1st place Large Quilt “Amish Star within a Star” by Elsie Graham, Jacksboro 2nd place Large Quilt “Hovering Birds” by Wanda Davis, Bowie (Post Oak) 1st place Small Quilt “Farm Girl Vintage” by Margaret Armstrong, Jacksboro 2nd place Small Quilt “Baby Blue” by Nelda Hopkins, Jacksboro  1st place Busy Bee Challenge, Elsie Graham, Jacksboro 2nd place Busy Bee Challenge, Gena Phillips, Olney 3rd place Busy Bee Challenge, Clydene Webb, Jacksboro Members Choice Quilt winner “Amish Star within a Star” by Elsie Graham, Jacksboro:  Ticket Quilt winner: Helen Galliton, Henrietta
