Tragedy hits Young County in back-to-back crashes

Kelsi Messick, 31-years-old, was returning home to Graham from Olney where she had spent the last couple of hours in the Hamilton Hospital’s ER with a patient. Messick was a hospice nurse.
  A quick stop for a bottle of water in Newcastle came to a heartbreaking stop when a pickup truck driven by Newcastle native Michael Eversole veered into a line of parked cars in front of a local convenience station. Eversole was uninjured in the crash. Read more in our August 17, 2017, issue.
