Stacy Wade Leaves Chamber After Nine Years

Stacy Wade recently left the Olney Chamber of Commerce to pursue a career in banking. She was able to make this transition without leaving the community she loves.

Wade said she decided to leave the Chamber for professional growth, and when the opportunity at First State Bank became available, she went for it stating, “I felt like the First State Bank was a good family to grow in.” Wade continued, “I had been at the Chamber for nine years and I enjoyed connecting with the people and businesses in the community.”

Starting a new career at First State Bank has been exciting Wade said. “As a teller, I still get to connect with people from the immediate and surrounding communities”, Wade said. “I would like to thank them for supporting me, being on my side, our town, our community. Everybody’s been great. The transitions been great. First State’ Bank has been great. People I work with have been great. I just love my new home.”

Wade is the daughter of Allen and Paula Bernhardt, and she is married to Jimmy Kyle who works at Air Tractor. The Wades have two daughters: Shea Wade who works at Cook’s Children’s Medical Center and Niki Wade, who works at Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center..

Wade graduated from Olney High School and attended Weatherford College. Returning home presented her with opportunities to work for local merchants such as Cub Drug. Wade said she took a leave to raise her two daughters and then returned to the public eye to do what she loves most, connect with people. “This community is great. It is easy for people in our community to love and trust mostly everyone. I love lots of things about Olney, but what I love most is that everyone is caring and has your back,” Wade said.
