Spotlight on Coach Caffey

It’s time for girls basketball! Meredith Caffey is the new girls basketball head coach.

Caffey wants to grow the basketball program for both the junior high and high school.

Being a positive role model is very important for Caffey. Sixteen girls are playing this year for the high school and they hope to make it to the playoffs. She is excited to watch the growth from all the athletes.

“ I want to help my athletes become strong, confident women,” Caffey said. “I am going to accomplish this by putting them in situations that they can be successful in and looking for the good in them. I will help them set attainable goals and as they accomplish those, encourage them to achieve new goals.”
