Seven Olney, Newcastle residents plead in April

Six Olney residents and one Newcastle resident made plea agreements with the 90th Judicial District Court in April.

Antonio Gabino Tellez, 21, of Olney pleaded true to violating his community supervision agreement by engaging in organized criminal activity, District Attorney Dee Peavy said in a statement. Mr. Tellez, 25, was sentenced to 25 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice – Institutional Division, and was ordered to pay the remaining fine and court cost, the district attorney said.

Cherry Dawn Quintanilla of Olney, 35, pleaded not true to allegations that she violated her community supervision agreement by possessing less than one gram of a controlled substance methamphetamine. The court found the alleged violations true and sentenced Ms. Quintanilla to 18 months confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice – State Jail (TDCJSJ), and ordered her to pay $1,500 fine, restitution and court cost.

Ashley Garza, 33, of Olney pleaded true to tampering with government records to defraud or harm and was sentenced to 12 months in the TDCJSJ and ordered to pay a $250 fine and court costs.

Felisiano Villalpando III pleaded guilty to assault causing bodily injury – a lesser Included offense. He was sentenced to 343 days in the Young County Jail, and ordered to pay court costs.

Ryan Scott Ralston, 36, of Olney pleaded guilty to aggravated assault with deadly weapon for beating his victim with a can of beans, and was sentenced to 10 years of community supervision, and ordered to pay a $2,500 fine, restitution and court costs Mr. Ralston pleaded guilty to tampering with a witness and was sentenced to 10 years of community service and ordered to pay a $750 fine and court costs.

Robbi Levi Forbus, 46, of Newcastle pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram - methamphetamine, and was sentenced to 3 years of community supervision, and ordered to pay a $1,500 fine, restitution and court costs.

Robin Lynn Fietz, 48, of Olney pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram – methamphetamine, and was sentenced to three years of community supervision. She was ordered to pay a $1,500 fine, restitution and court costs.
