Oct. 3 - The Olney Fall City-Wide Yard Sale will be held Saturday, Oct. 3, throughout Olney. Residents are invited to clean out their closets, garages, and storage rooms and set up their own sales, while bargain hunters can shop around town for deals and hidden treasures.
Participating sale locations and additional details will be announced closer to the event.
Saturday, Oct. 6 @ 6 p.m. - The Olney Police Department hosts National Night Out to visit with and serve local residents barbecue meals at Tom Griffin Park.
Oct. 10 & 15 - Olney Hamilton Hospital will host community health fairs in Olney and Newcastle in October.
The Olney Health Fair will be held Saturday, Oct. 10, from 7-10 a.m. at the Hamilton Hospital EMS Building, with free lab work including glucose and cholesterol screenings, free blood pressure checks, health resources and information, and flu shots for $25 while supplies last. The Newcastle Health Fair will be held Thursday, Oct. 15, at Newcastle School.
Thursday, Oct. 15 @ 6-8 p.m. - Hudson’s on Main hosts a Meet and Greet with Young County Judge candidate Taylor Qualls. 119 E. Main St. Come connect, ask questions, and hear firsthard about the vision. plans, and priorities that impact our community. The candidate will hold a question and answer session and community discussion. Dinner will be served as usual.
