Line up at 7:30 p.m. at the Olney Saving Building parking lot at Main Street and Avenue B. Parade starts at 8 p.m. down Main Street to Grand Avenue and continues to Tommy Perkins Park. The Chamber will serve watermelon and cold water and will have sparklers for the kids. All wheeled vehicles -- bicycles, side by sides, cars -- are welcome. Sunday, July 12 @ 3 p.m. - St. Luke Lutheran Church welcomes the community to a free organ concert, featuring patriotic music and hymns in celebration of America’s 250th birthday. All are welcome to the concert and an ice cream social in the fellowship hall. 1302 W. Oak St., Olney. July 18 @ 6:30 p.m. - The Olney Senior Cub Center presents its Second Annual Variety Show fundraiser at the Olney Civic Center, sponsored by Tower Extrusions. Featuring Greg Beunger “The Piano Man,” the Branum Family, Poet Lee Wiley Burch, The Brass Buttons and more. Attendance is by donation. Grand Ave. Monday, July 20 @ 5:30 p.m. - Young County Democrats host their “Beans N Jeans 2026” event, featuring Democratic candidates including Clayton Tucker (Ag Commissioners), Dion Sims (US House), Kendall Scudder (Texas Democratic Party Chair), as well as a message from James Talarico (US Senate). Event is at the Multi-Purpose Room (MPR), North Central Texas College in Graham.
