The Refuge Hosts Appreciation Dinner

The Refuge hosted an appreciation dinner Sunday, Feb. 10. The guests feasted on smoked chicken or brisket, potato salad or Cajun potato salad, green beans, side salad, roll and bread pudding while being entertained by the Olney High School Jazz Band. As the night progressed, there were some recognitions and testimonies. The Refuge board members are Calli Simmons, Lyndsey Miller, David Meschkat, Cory Fuksa, Gunter Rodriquez, Lonnie Wales and Josh Hagle. They recognized Rodney and Kristy for their hard work, dedication and spirit. Camrie Baca, Trampas Patton and Lorelei Perry shared their testimonies about how God has used the Refuge to bring about change in their hearts and lives. Calli Simmons passed out door prizes. At the close of the evening, everyone was informed that one of the chairs at the table had a sticky note on it and whoever got it won the table’s flower arrangement. The arrangements were done by Olney Floral.
