Olney residents take plea deals

Cases pled in the 90th Judicial District Court for the month of May: David James Kee, 37, of Olney pled guilty to evading arrest or detention with a vehicle and was sentenced to eight years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-Institution Division and ordered to pay a $1,000 fine, restitution, and court costs.

Ricky Don Haynes, II., 35, of Olney pled guilty to theft of property ($2,500 or more but less than $30,000), and was sentenced to 15 months in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice – State Jail Division. He also was ordered to pay restitution and court costs.

Noel Hernandez Ortiz, 31, of Graham pled guilty to burglary of a habitation and was sentenced to 10 years of community supervision. He was ordered to pay a $500 fine and court costs.

Barry Keith Reeves, 62, or Archer City pled guilty to possessing a controlled substance - one gram or more but less than four grams of methamphetamine. He was sentenced to five years of community supervision and ordered to pay a $2,500 fine, restitution, and court costs.

Ashley Nicole Merrill, 41, of Azle pled guilty to possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver four grams or more but less than 200 grams of methamphetamine. She was sentenced to four years of community supervision and ordered to pay a $1,500 fine, restitution, and court costs.

Russell Ellis Oliver, 38, of Tishomingo, Oklahoma pled guilty to possession of a controlled substance - less than one gram of methamphetamine and was sentenced to three years of community supervision and ordered to pay a $1,000 fine, restitution, and court costs.

Joseph Lee Spradley, 32, of Graham pled guilty to tampering or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair and was sentenced to three years of community supervision and ordered to pay a $1,500 fine, restitution, and court costs.

Kimberly Lynn Burcham, 61, of Megargel pled guilty to the offense of theft of property of $500 or more but less than $1,500 and was sentenced to two years of community supervision, and ordered to pay a $500 fine, restitution, and court costs.

Jeffery Ethan Ford, 29, of Olney pled guilty to assault causing bodily injury of a family member and was sentenced to two years of community supervision. He also was ordered to pay a $500 fine, restitution, and court costs.

Matthew E. Sacy, 38, of Graham pled guilty to driving while intoxicated and was sentenced to two years of community supervision. He was ordered to pay a $2,000 fine, restitution, and court costs.
