Olney Performs One Act Play in Seymour

Olney High School Performed “The Boys Next Door” play written by Tom Griffin Wednesday, March 06, 2019, in Seymour for the University Interscholastic League (UIL) One Act Play (OAP) contest. District 9-AA. The setting of the play is in New England. Electra, Olney and Seymour were selected to advance to the next round.

All students’ performance was excellent. The following students won awards: Kiera Allen earned an award for “Best Sound.” The All-Star Cast comprises Carter Hinson, Oscar Flores and Michael Liming. The cast of Characters along with the roles played by the student actors are as follows:

Arnold (played by Carter Hinson), Lucien (played by Oscar Flores), Jack (played by Mason Spivey), Norman (played by Michael Liming), Barry (played by Lance Sprague), Mr. Hedges/Senator Clarke (played by Ryan Clayton), Mrs. Warren (played by Jenny Ford), Sheila (played by Jae Montgomery), Mr. Klemper (played by Peter Spears).
