Olney Library holds Crafty Mondays for teens this summer

“Crafty Mondays” at Olney Community Library is an exciting addition to the Summer Reading program, offering engaging activities for teens in 6th through 12th grade. Crafty Mondays will be held each Monday in June and July and one Monday in August. These classes promise a summer filled with creativity and fun!

With a variety of crafts to choose from, there’s something for everyone.

June 3 - Journaling provides a space for organization, self-expression, and reflection. This is the first session of three you can take one or more sessions.

June 10 - We will get creative and paint pots and then plant succulents in them before taking them home!

June 17 - Adult Coloring has become a relaxing way to get creative. Coloring isn’t just for kindergarten anymore!!

June 24 - We will create beautiful flowers out of common everyday items like paper towels, tissue paper, buttons and burlap.

July 1 - Journaling Session 2. New attendees welcome.

July 8 - Let’s make a Duct Tape wallet!

July 15 - Painting on ceramic tile adds a unique twist to traditional painting.

July 22 - Origami provides a fun challenge for those who enjoy intricate paper folding.

July 29 - Duct Tape Flower Pens!

August 5 - Journaling Session 3. New attendees welcome.
