Olney ISD honors principals’ achievements at Oct. meeting

Monday, Oct. 14, the Olney ISD School Board held a meeting with two goals in mind. One to have a think tank on ideas to help improve the Olney ISD school system. Both long term and short-term ideas were brought up and added to a list of items to be further researched and planned upon. Moreover, these plans of action are voted on and set in motion to move forward.

The second item on the agenda was some much-earned recognition for Olney ISD’s three principals. High School Principal Matt Caffey, Junior High Principal Amanda Barrientes and Elementary Principal Gunter Rodriguez received certificates of achievements and recognition of their dedication, passion and hard work presented by Olney ISD Superintendent Dr. Greg Roach.
