Olney Heritage Museum reschedules open house

The rain dampened Olney Heritage Museum’s (OHM) Open House on Saturday, September 8.

The OHM committee said they appreciate the people who braved the storm, but they have decided to move forward with another Open House to give more people an opportunity to get a first look at this new and historical attraction in Olney.

The OHM committee will schedule a new date for the open house.

Committee members said they are looking forward to displaying more exhibits adults will enjoy along with more kid-friendly exhibits such as the children’s village and milking cow who remains un-named.

The judges are still deliberating over the list of potential names for the OHM cow that Olney Elementary Pre-K through Fifth-grade classes submitted. The committee will announce the cow’s name at the next opening, and the winning class will receive a special treat.

You will find additional information about the OHM Open House in the upcoming issues of Olney Enterprise. If you have questions, feel free to stop by the front desk located at 213 E. Main St.or, send an email to info@OlneyHeritageMuseum.org.
