Olney Fire Department 12 Days of Christmas Raffle
The Olney Volunteer Fire Department (OVFD) has kicked off the annual 12 Days of Christmas Raffle. The daily drawings will be held Dec. 10 through Dec. 21. The proceeds generated from the raffle will benefit the OVFD equipment fund and the toy fund for children in Olney.
For the past three years, OVFD has sponsored the raffle to purchase necessary equipment that insures the safety of the volunteer firemen, and to ensure every child in Olney has a toy on Christmas Day.
Fire Chief Ron Keeter said, “This raffle is for a good cause. It is important to help families who are in need during the holidays. Some of the money will be used for equipment that is needed throughout the year.”
Tickets are on sale now for $10 each, or you may purchase six tickets for $50. You may buy tickets from any fireman or online using this link: https://olneyfire.weebly.com.
You may place donated toys for the OVFD toy drive in the drop boxes located throughout the city: Cub Drug, First State Bank, InterBank, First Baptist Church and Olney Enterprise. When making donations, please specify the donation is for the OVFD toy fund.
