Olney Chamber Members Gather at Legion to Socialize

The Olney Chamber of Commerce recently hosted a night out for Chamber members to socialize at American Legion Post 414. The event was sponsored by the Spirit of Texas Ranch and Stewart Ranch.

Chamber members and guests were able to enjoy a charcuterie board provided by Chamber member and local business, 3T Meats, located across State Highway 79 from Tower Extrusions. The board featured a selection of delicious meats, bread, cheeses, vegetables, and many other scrumptious treats. The Legion provided beer and wine, with proceeds from those sales going to support Post 414’s programs.

The Chamber’s next event will be a quarterly luncheon on March 21 at Hometown Coffee & Tea, Director Deidre Brown said. “We will be welcoming Lance Groves from the TV show ‘Rural Route Revival,’” she said. “He is going to talk about how they are going to make an impact right here in Olney.”

The Chamber golf tournament will be held on April 22. “We’re looking for teams for that as well as hole and contest sponsors,” she said. “The sponsorships are $100 each.”

The Olney Chamber will be hosting the very popular Olney in America festival on June 29, with the Fourth of July parade on July 4.
