Olney Chamber’s 11th Annual Show-N-Shine Car Show & Cruise Saturday, Sept. 7

The 11th Annual Olney Car Show will be held this year on Saturday, Sep.7 at the downtown Olney Gazebo area. Early registration for the vehicles that participate will be $15 and registration on the day of the event will be $20. For those who are interested in pre-registering, call Stacy Wade at the Olney Chamber of Commerce at 940-564-5445 or email them at chamber@brazos.net. Registartion will begin at 8 a.m., followed by the judging which begin at 10 a.m. for all cars, truck, motorcycles, tractors, golf carts and UTV’s and the awards will be given out at noon-1 p.m with 1st and 2nd place receiving trophies. The first 25 who sign up to show vehicles are eligible to receive a goodie bag from the Olney Chamber of Commerce with a 50/50 drawing. The Cruise will begin after the awards ceremony at 1 p.m. Vendors are welcome to set up their own booth for 20 dollars during the event—bring your own lawn chairs and come enjoy a fun filled day in downtown Olney! “Gravel Roads Band” will be performing at 10 a.m. that same day at the Olney Car show. Olney’s Sonic following the cruise will have half-priced hamburgers from 1pm.-3p.m. and one free drink to the cruise participant—must show car show/cruise vehicle identification card for the one free drink.
