OJH TMSCA Wins State Contest Again

They did it again! Olney Junior High’s TMSCA students are back-toback State Champions!

Twenty-five students loaded the bus last Thursday afternoon to journey to San Antonio. The team enjoyed a trip to SeaWorld on Friday and studied on Friday evening before competing on Saturday. They were joined by over three thousand of Texas’s brightest and best sixth, seventh, and eighth-grade students.

OJH took first place in the Sweepstakes match, earning 2667.1 points, besting Ozona, Lindsay, Garden City, Seymour, and twelve other 1A/2A teams from across Texas. The team is coached by Mrs. Diane Hubbard, Dr. Greg Roach and Ms. Rhonda Jeske-Geter.
