OJH Cubs take the “grr” out of the Tigers

The Olney Junior High Cubs football team defeated the Electra Tigers on Thursday, September 13, in Electra, Texas

In the first quarter, the Cubs ran the ball in for a touchdown and a 2-point conversion. The defense was able to hold the Tigers at zero. The score at the end of the first quarter was 8-0.

The Cubs had possession of the ball at the start of the second quarter. They took it in for a touchdown after only a few carries. The defense kept the Tigers from scoring. During the next Cubs possession, they got another touchdown. The score going into half time was 20-0.

The third quarter started with a good kick return to the Cubs 45-yard line. A carry for a short gain lead to a Cubs touchdown. Again, the defense kept the Tigers from scoring. The third quarter ended with Cubs in the lead, 26-0.

The fourth quarter went much the same as the previous three. Cubs defense held Tigers at zero points, while the offense scored a touchdown and the game ended with a Cubs victory with a score of 32-0.
