OHS seniors keep back-to-school traditions

The Olney High School Class of 2025 completed traditional first day of school events on Aug. 14 including the Senior Sunrise. The senior class gathered a half hour before sunrise to enjoy breakfast and socialize together as the sun broke the horizon for the first day of their last year of secondary school.

The second tradition recently resurrected has seniors gathering at the intersection of State Highway 114 and State Highway 79 to paint the intersection with their names.

The event was made safe by Olney Police Chief Dan Birbeck and the officers of the Olney Police Department.

Good luck, Class of 2025! It’s time to make your mark.
