NHS holds blood drive
The annual Olney High School Blood Drive on Nov. 13 lasted from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The drive was organized by Dale Lovett, and National Honor Society members worked the school/staff portion of the drive.
“NHS members worked the drive for a community service project. They checked in donors and set them up for quick screening,” Mollie Pace, NHS sponsor, said. NHS members got volunteer hours for the time that they worked. Twenty hours are needed per semester to stay in the NHS. In all, 16 members worked at the drive, these members include: Brooklynn Bond, Sawyer Edgington, Adrian Gonzalez, Joselyn Marquez, Isaac Delgado Rios, Camron McComack, JoJo Acuna, Allison Alvarado, Morgan Simmons, Jeffry Flores, Caleb Johnson, Nate Elmore, Luke Lane, Lauren Pham, Caden Lane, and Aidyn Bitner.
