Newcastle High School Celebrates Prom

Students at Newcastle High School enjoyed an elegant night out at Painted Lakes Ranch for their 2025 Prom. The evening included the music styles of DJ Rad Dad, a fun selfie station by PhotoBombs, delicious treats, snacks and plenty of dancing.

After having their photos taken to mark the memorable occasion, attendees took to the dance floor or snacked in the adjacent room and enjoyed lively conversation.

The King and Queen were announced close to the end of the evening: the 2025 Newcastle Prom King is Lucas Owen and Prom Queen is Mattie Dollar.

The King and Queen entered the dance floor for a traditional dance to celebrate the crowning. Slow dancing seemed to usher in the end to a fun exciting evening at 11 p.m., after attendees lingered reminiscing over the night’s events before heading home or to after parties.
