Letter to the Editor:
Beloved citizens of Olney, we are approaching our 27th annual March for Jesus this upcoming October 4th. All praise, honor, and glory to our great God and our Creator. This year, in honoring the One who belongs glory in all things, there will be a “glory train,” for the kids to ride on as well as adults if they so desire.
Although we may be considered a small town in the middle of nowhere, we can choose to be a “city” set on a hill in the eyes of the Almighty. We can choose to be a beacon of light. Let’s show the world. We are not defined by our small town status but by our enormous love for Jesus! Come and be a part of what the Lord is doing right here in Olney, Texas. Let’s not hide our light under a bushel but allow it to shine all the more in a world full of chaos. Let’s be examples of what the LORD can do through unity and love; no matter our age, gender, or race. It’s not enough to talk about it. We must be about our Father’s business just as Jesus was.
