Legion to hold traditional flag retirement Saturday
Join us for a Day of Honor and Fun on June 24th at American Legion The Olney American Legion Post 414 is pleased to extend a warm invitation to all residents and visitors for a special Flag Retirement Ceremony hosted by the American Legion followed by the June Market hosted by the Rebel Soul Mercantile. The Flag Retirement Ceremony is a time-honored tradition observed by the American Legion. It is a symbolic way of retiring worn, tattered, or unserviceable flags in a dignified and respectful manner.
