Immunization Clinic

The Texas Department of State Health Services will be conducting an immunization clinic at the Olney Community Library on Friday, October 2nd. Influenza immunizations will be available at this clinic. This clinic will be by appointment only, no walkins will be accepted. Please call our Archer City office at 940/574-2159 to schedule an appointment. Masks are required and all clients/guardians will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms upon entry to the facility. The client areas will be disinfected between each client/family.

United Pharmacy will be on-site to provide flu shots for those with private insurance and Medicare. Immunizations will be on a walk-in basis for this service.

Appointments for immunizations are also available at the Archer City Field Office located at 511 S Cedar Street, Archer City. Appointments will be scheduled so that only one family will be in the office at a time. The office will be disinfected between visits and precautionary steps will be taken to keep everyone as healthy as possible.

DSHS offers vaccines for kindergarten, seventh grade and college entry, as well as all infant immunizations. Adult immunizations are available to those who qualify.

The Texas Department of State Health Services provides vaccine for children and adults with no insurance, the American Indian and Native Alaskan population, as well as children on Medicaid. We cannot provide vaccine for those with CHIP, Medicare or private insurance. If your private insurance covers vaccines, you will be referred to your physician. Parent or guardian over the age of 19 must accompany a minor under the age of 18. VFC vaccines are provided for $10.00 per visit, with a maximum of $20.00 per household. Adult vaccines are $20.00 per visit for adults with no insurance. No one will be denied services due to inability to pay.
