Holiday Inn joins Olney Chamber

Sept. 23, the Olney Chamber of Commerce (OCOC) held a ribbon cutting with Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Graham, Texas to signify Holiday Inn joining the Olney Chamber.

Christy Chappell, who is the General Manager at the Holiday Inn Express at the Graham location, joined the Olney Chamber because a great deal of guests who visit with the Holiday Inn are in the area to hunt in Olney and the surrounding area. Events like the Olney Amputee Dove Hunt (OADH) are a big draw for the Holiday Inn, as well as dove and deer season. “Tower and Air Tractor pull in a good deal of visitors as well,” says Chappell.

Chappell says two of the OADH hunters have stayed at the Holiday Inn since it was built roughly 11 years ago. Chappell says these guests have stated they will not stay anywhere else when coming to the annual OADH.

Chappell says, “the reason why most choose Holiday Inn over other motels and hotels is we have great reward programs, once you stay one night you can sign up for free and start earning reward points for free nights.” Chappell went on to state some other reasons why guests choose the Holiday Inn in Graham over other businesses. “We have complimentary breakfast, a heated pool that is open year round and new fitness center equipment,” Chappell added.
