Graham Regional Theatre performs ‘SchoolHouse Rock Live’

The Graham Regional Theatre [GRT] hosted a summer camp to sharpen acting skills, teach acting and stage production and provide a fun environment for the children of Young County to express their inner actor or actress.

The Summer Camp ended the season with a performance of School House Rock, a popular cartoon of the 80’s that aired with other cartoon favorites of the era. The camp was hosted by GRT Board Members who are also seasoned Actresses and Directors of the GRT, Katie Huitt and Kay Berru. Kay has been acting for more than 50 years and acting is in her blood she said, Katie says she only began acting at about 30 years of age but had been interested in acting for a long time before joining GRT.
